Новогодний ужин — застолье, в котором участвует вся семья, проводя старый год и встречая новый. Принято подавать на новогодний стол определенную пищу, которая в идеале должна соответствовать символу наступающего года. 2012 год будет проходить под флагом Черного Водяного Дракона. Желательно, чтобы все стоящие на праздничном столе блюда были приготовлены за один день. Считается, что Дракон любит свежатину, а блюда, которые какое-то время находились в холодильнике, предназначены для собак, а не для могущественного огнедышащего существа.

Стихия грядущего 2012 года — вода, поэтому желательно позаботиться о том, чтобы на столе была рыба и морепродукты. Но не помешает мясо и птица, так как Дракон питается не только овощами. К слову о рыбе: на столе лучше всего будет смотреться рыба ценных пород: осетр, стерлядь, бестер, но если кошелек позволяет купить рыбу попроще, ее тоже можно подать, но важно изысканно украсить такое блюдо.

Чтобы угодить этому необычному водно-огненному созданию, рекомендуется щедро приправлять новогоднюю пищу черным душистым перцем, ароматной кинзой, кардамоном, имбирем, базиликом, паприкой, перцем чили. Гвоздем огнедышащего застолья может стать десерт или блюдо из мяса, облитое подожженным «топливом» из благородного спиртного напитка. Этот прием профессиональные кулинары называют фламбированием. Во время подачи на стол горящего блюда необходимо строго соблюдать правила безопасности! Тогда огненное представление непременно понравится Дракону, который любит веселые карнавалы. Чтобы весь новый год семье сопутствовала удача, желательно приготовить какое-нибудь блюдо, ингредиентом которого будет являться тыква. Например, кусочки тыквы можно помакать в жидкий мед, поместить в духовку, посыпать молотыми орехами, сахарной пудрой и подать на стол со взбитыми сливками.

Словом, если опытная хозяйка проявит фантазию и терпение, ее блюда обязательно порадуют домашних и задобрят сурового Дракона, превратив его в очаровательное домашнее животное.
